It's almost 1am and the Tiny Human is curled up in bed with the Bearded One. I've cleaned the kitchen, turned on the best invention ever, otherwise known as a dishwasher and cleaned the bathroom. I should be winding down or in bed catching some Z's, but I feel like I am on a bit of a rampage and could easily keep going.
We have a house inspection on Tuesday, oh the joys of renting, so I want the house to be at it's best and not look like a tornado hit it. Sure it won't look like one of the many interior design images I have posted on my Pinterest, but dreams are free right?!? (some day you will be mine beautiful reading nook).
Tomorrow I will be running around the house like a bit of a mad woman getting the house in tip top shape; unless I complete this task tonight, although that means going down to the garage, so I doubt it.
On Friday I had a blood test to check on this thyroid issue (I will write a blog about this soon), so aside from the house inspection this week, I'm also waiting to hear back about how that went. Hopefully the results are good, meaning the pills are working.
At the end of this week (plus one day), we'll be in the final month of the year and grandma of the Tiny Human (my mum) will be coming down to Wellington for the one year celebrations. Nana to the Tiny Human (my mother-in-law) will also be coming down to Wellington, so no doubt he is going to be one spoilt little boy.
This also means I have roughly two weeks to sort out the celebration details, like should we have a cake or cupcakes? And I need to make a viking outfit for the Tiny Human.
So here I sit, drinking a cup of tea, listening to Enya and fretting about the week to come. I'm sure it will all go by without a hitch, but I can't help but stress about it, damn inspections.

Probably my favourite Enya track
