5 things to remember when booking a face painter (or balloon twister)
- Book in advance, especially in the lead up to Halloween, Christmas & summer. This is the busiest time of year for a lot of face painters & balloon twisters, so if your child's birthday is around this time you'll want to get in early.
- Have a rough number
It's always good to have a rough number of children that you're expecting in mind when booking a face painter or balloon twister, to figure out how many hours you will need your entertainer for. There are only so many balloons twisted and faces painted in a short amount of time. - Don't expect something for nothing.
From time to time there will be somebody who calls every face painter in the area looking for a deal/a cheaper price, to find we are all about the same price. We charge what we charge to cover our products, our skill and our time; with the skill that a lot of face painters have, you're getting a deal. - Honor your booking.
For many face painters & balloon twisters, this is our job. It's not a hobby or something we do to make some extra cash, this is our "9 to 5". So try not to cancel your booking if you can help it or shorten a booking time at the last minute. - Spread the word
If there is a face painter you love out there, share the word with your friends. We like it when you refer us on to other people and your supporting local business & talent.
