It's 3.30am, I'm awake and it's not because of the Tiny Human; he's asleep on the couch next to me. I've been working on an entry for WOW (World of Wearableart) and it's led to a few late nights; lucky we enjoy sleep around here & normally don't rise till after 10am.
This late night working has been giving Netflix a work out. I've watched all six seasons of "Absolutely Fabulous", all four seasons of "Torchwood", "The Princess Bride", a documentary about Nina Simone ("What Happened Miss Simone?"), a documentary about Iris Apfel ("Iris"), "The Director" (a documentary about Gucci), "The Out List", "The Woman List", "The Boomer List" and there are probably a couple of things in there that I've forgotten.
Yes, I'm a binge watcher and proud of it, before the Tiny Human was born I watched the whole first season of "Penny Dreadful" in under 24 hours. I'm also a night owl and find if I am going to be productive, it's going to be in the middle of the night while the rest of the world sleeps.
I'm always curious though, what do other people do when they are awake in the middle of the night? What do you do when you have to get up to tend to your little one?
Here is a little Billy Joel, in case you have the song stuck in your head.
