Treasures baby wipes were on special last week at Countdown, so we thought we would give them a spin and see what they are like.
Over the years as a face painter I've tried out many a brand of baby wipes, from the really cheap & nasty ones, to the thicker more absorbent types. There are two annoying things with baby wipes; the perforated type don't tear easily with one hand and you end up pulling more wipes from the packet and wipes that you just pull from the pack always seem to wait to bring all of their baby wipe friends with them, when you only wanted one wipe.
Personally I really like the Huggies baby wipes because of the thickness of them. Most other baby wipes are quite thin & some seem almost see through. It should be no surprise though that Treasures Baby Wipes have a good thickness and quality to them.
I found they were easy to pull from the pack while trying to keep the tiny human feet out off the dirty nappy; sure there was the odd time that I pulled more than one wipe at a time from the pack, but overall I pulled more single wipes than clumps of wipes, which in my eyes equals a tick.
I didn't mind the smell and they smell a lot better than some of the wipes I have used over the years, but for a product that is "No Added Fragrance" they definitely have a smell. However my husband didn't like the smell of the Treasures baby wipes and found them a bit too stiff.
Like all things though it comes down to personal preference and I quite liked these wipes. Now if only somebody could make a baby wipe that has the thickness & texture of the Huggies baby wipes and the easy dispensary of the Treasures baby wipes.
